Victor Klochkov

Born in Kazakhstan, I then spent most of my life in Russia — and, because I clearly enjoy geographic plot twists, I moved back to Kazakhstan for the last 3+ years before deciding it was time for the Netherlands.

I share life with my wife Lena — we’ve been together for 15+ years, which is basically a long-running production system with excellent uptime. We also have a son, Danya (1 year and 8 months).

Professionally, I’ve been a Java developer for 10+ years, building scalable backend systems and working full-stack as well.

In my free time, you’ll find me tinkering with self-hosted stuff — because I can’t relax unless I’m running at least one server somewhere. I also love video games and DIY projects, like building a smart home.
